On Tuesday 1 December, Torch Apparel Ltd will launch the TorchONE on Kickstarter. The TorchONE campaign will run from 1 to 31 December 2020 for delivery to customers in Spring 2021. TorchONE had been entered into the Eurobike 2020 awards for innovative products and had shortlisted to the final product list prior to cancellation of the Eurobike event. The Torch team will therefore launch the TorchONE helmet digitally on 1 December while holding a LIVE Press and Partner Zoom ONLY launch on 20 November at 1200 hrs London time.
The TorchONE is a helmet for all forms of two-wheeled transport in support of individuals that care about safety, style and human connection. The TorchONE campaign will celebrate methods of transport that enhance an individual’s own sustainability, individuality, and place in a wider community while offering appropriate technology to enhance visibility.
With a focus on developing a removable 360-degree, 24/7/365 lighting display, the emphasis of the TorchONE is being seen. This is key to TorchONE’s ethos and approach and is both literal and metaphorical. The campaign will celebrate all riders whatever their background and help to promote the diverse community that we are all a part of while offering the largest removable light coverage of any helmet available in the marketplace.
Coming in at 266 grams without lights and 382 grams with lighting attached, the TorchONE will be the lightest helmet in its category, with the largest light display available. The TorchONE will come to market in 4 colour-ways. The 10 widened vents and aerodynamic design will be appreciated by the frequent and more dedicated riders and provide essential ventilation for warmer climates and seasons. The TorchONE lenses are fully rechargeable, using standard Micro USB3 to ensure global compatibility. The lighting operates in 4 modes and final testing is taking place to assess longevity in each lighting mode. For those that wish to shield from the sun or provide a more commuter look, the TorchVISOR will be available as an accessory to accommodate this.
